Everything went perfectly and the shutters look amazing! Excellent service, highly recommended professional... company.From the moment I contacted David everything was explained thoroughly and professionally (over the phone and in person) about the different styles options, the fitting procedure, delivery and install expectations. It was really reassuring to know that it was all going to be managed and installed by David and his team rather than any 3rd parties or novius installers (like other companies might).On the day of the install David and Vince were really efficient and worked tirelessly to get all the shutters installed to a high standard finish and it was all completed by a good time.On a personal note David and Vince are really nice people, easy to get along with and have a great sense of humour. My mum referred me to Habitat Shutters. David did such amazing job at my parents house and the quality of the... workmanship and fit was outstanding. I gave David a call.David was professional throughout gave me great advise measured and put me at ease at once about the whole process. The shutters were ordered and installed on the date agreed.The shutters are absolutely beautiful I’m truly over the moon and couldn’t be happier. The shutters make each of the rooms look so much bigger, fresh and elegant. They are much easier to maintain and clean I would never ever have nets of curtains again and as a family we will never use another company to fit these in our homes.Thank you David I can’t tell you how happy we are with the finished product. I followed this company for more than a year before obtaining a quote followed by ordering as I could not believe the... ratings were 5* consistently. HS deserve 10+ stars. David is a professional and fair person running his business with care for the customer. I have shutters across the entire house now and from ordering to execution was seamless. Price is very competitive and if he states 12 weeks that’s exactly what he means. No hassle no delays. Excellent service. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE!! Sadly I have no more windows to dress!! Very very rare to find a company like this. Wishing you and your team David more success.read more

I couldn’t recommend David at Habitat Shutters enough. He was by far the nicest and most genuine seeming installer to... give us a quote for our bay windows (of the four or five we received), and was among the most competitively priced as well.When he came to measure up, he gave great advice, listened to our preferences, was patient with our domestic over the colour and Louvre size, and 12 weeks later when him and his colleague (also an absolute gent) had left, having finished the installation, we were absolutely made up with the results.High quality hardwood shutters, snug fit, solid as you like, and caulked flawlessly. Left us with lots of spare slats and advice about care. Couldn’t be happier with the experience and how it all turned out. Will probably be years until I need shutters installed again, but when I do I’m calling David in a heartbeat.read more

Very very happy with shutters & service. Great advice from David during site visit (was definitely right decision to go... with white & pay a little extra to have the design where the bar is hidden/built in).They were frank about impact of shipping delays due to COVID. I was expecting 4 mths for shutters to be delivered, but luckily got them in 3 mths.Installation quality excellent.Good, comparable mid range price but with excellent quality & service.Thanks again to David & his team.Two asides:No shutter can absolutely block 100% light as there are always small gaps between the panels, so I will need to add a highly gathered voile net curtain behind to stop a tiny amount of street light shining through the gaps (it is a bedroom).My only regret is not getting the top section as a separate concertina opening because I have top windows that I can’t open unless I open the whole shutter. So no privacy if I need to open the window. That’s not Habitat Shutters fault though - I just didn’t think about this component during the design site visit.read more

Found them online along with multiple other providers - they are all doing constant promotions. I called 3 providers... round to view my job - David Garcia turned up from Habitat. He was by far the most professional, least sales push and most responsive. He’s well informed and knows his product. Another major national supplier was the complete opposite! So, leap of faith with David - and he didn’t disappoint. On time, good communication throughout and never over promising. The product is quality, solid wood, good construction and Made in China (btw they all are!). David took me through all the products and got me within budget but no compromise on quality. His insistence on measuring and then measuring again to ensure a perfect fit was particularly reassuring - he doesn’t want to get it wrong. For me, was v pleasantly surprised at the ‘no hassle, no headache’ professional experience I received from David/Habitat. Somewhat refreshing in the home improvement industry - highly recommend.read more
