Shutter options
NEW 76mm louvre available at no extra cost. Contact us now for more information.
Tilt control rods
Tilt control rods are used to move the louvres up and down. There are 3 options for the position of the control rod, these being: offset to the side of the shutter, in the middle of the shutter and a hidden control rod mechanism which is machined into the stile and hidden from view. With the hidden option all the louvres move when one is pushed. Hidden control rods are available on 63mm, 76mm, 89mm and 114mm sized louvres and a minimum panel width of 22cm’s. Panels taller than 130cm’s will have 2 or more control mechanisms.
Shapes and Styles
Create a unique look in your home. We offer a selection of design options to help you customise your shutters for a truly individual effect. In addition to the traditional styles we can also manufacture shutters to special shapes including arches, fan tops, circles, hexagons, octagons and triangles. Also consider tracked shutters for larger windows or for dividing a room.
Louvre widths
Smaller louvres provide enhanced privacy but also restrict light into the room. Larger louvres are great for letting in as much light as possible. Examples of louvre sizes can be seen during your free no-obligation home survey. Choose from 47mm, 63mm, 76mm 89mm or 114mm sized louvres. Samples of each size will be shown during the free, no-obligation home survey.
Solid options and fixed louvres
Solid shutters provide total privacy so are the perfect choice if your windows are overlooked or if you are considering shutters as room dividers. (Please note that solid shutters in the solid raised design are only available in our Dorchester and Knightsbridge ranges). We can also offer fixed louvre shutters, either dressed up or dressed down, which are available in the Venice, waterproof range.
Hinge colours
Choose a hinge colour to complement or contrast with your shutters, depending on the look you would like to achieve. There are 8 different colours to choose from which our Surveyor will be able to show you during his visit.
